Encouraging the construction and maintenance of sports facilities

This subsidy scheme Encouraging the construction and maintenance of sports facilities focuses on sports clubs and sports foundations.
The subsidy allows investments in energy saving and sustainable energy applications to be made at sports facilities, such as LED lighting and solar panels.

The subsidy scheme contributes to the objective of energy saving, as agreed in the National Energy Accord, by exploiting the potential for energy savings at sports clubs and sports facilities.

Since January 2, 2019, you can apply for funding for these activities through the scheme “Encouraging construction and maintenance of sports” by de Dienst Uitvoering Subsidies aan Instellingen (DUS-I)

A total of 35% (20% + 15% additional) of the costs for energy saving measures and the generation of renewable energy can be reimbursed.
The appendix states which measures can receive the 15% additional subsidy

In 2019 a total of € 87 million is available. This is divided in order of arrival of complete applications.
