Unique Lights: LED lighting for working environments with hazardous substances

Wherever you work with hazardous substances, such as chemicals, you are required place the highest requirements on safety and therefore on the LED lighting used. Unique Lights designs and delivers LED lighting for working environments with hazardous substances.

Unique Lights delivers LED lighting for potentially explosive work environments where chemical substances are used

Lighting in working environments with chemical substances is a key safety issue. For example, colour fastness and recognisability are extremely important when working on chemical installations. Our high quality industrial and EAC certified LED lighting in chemical applications meets the following international requirements: ATEX (explosion proof) – IECEx, DNV-GL, ABS and Inmetro. Unique Lights LED lighting is available for zones 1 and 2 (21 & 22) as well as for industrial applications.

LED lighting for a variety of applications

Unique Lights provides LED lighting for working environments with hazardous substances, such as the petrochemical industry with transhipment of gas, oil and gasoline, chemicals, toxic substances, lighting for petrol stations and oil platforms. Unique Lights also supplies the chemical industry with acid-proof and salt-resistant LED lighting, and we also develop lighting plans, and implement these, for the coating sector. Think of spraying, spray booth, paint storage and chemical storage. Unique Lights also works for the food industry, in locations such as silos, compound feed plants and dusty environments with a risk of explosion. You will also find our solutions in the nautical world, with waterproof LED lighting, resistant to seawater and acid resistant. Finally, we also apply our LED solutions in ports and industrial estates. For example, when loading and unloading acidic and hazardous substances in an oil refinery and chemical plants, or for loading and unloading of pulverised or dusty goods where there is a risk of explosion.

Contributes to your CO2 reduction

The long lifespan of LED lighting means less maintenance and contributes to your CO2 reduction. At the end of its lifespan, approximately 95% of the materials are suitable for reuse. Also, LED lighting provides far less light pollution through direct and asymmetrical lighting and is therefore environmentally friendly.
